physical landscapes of the uk:

standby - loads of content and features right here very soon!

In this section, students are required to answer questions ONLY on two of the three subtopics provided.

This section focuses initially on exploring the diversity of landscapes visible in the UK, as well as unpacking the reasons behind their existence - with an emphasis on our 12000 odd miles of coastline as well as glacial upland landscapes such as the Lake District in Cumbria or river environments.

It is important to also appreciate that there are issues and challenges associated with protecting such landscapes in the 21st Century, and that numerous strategies have been tried, some more successfully than others.
